It depends may be on the operating system:
WIN7, Win 8, Win 10
in which directory the database has to be saved.

That’s odd, Bob.
I saw that original post, and put the ARRL-ALL.DTB file in, and it did not work.
Is there any chance the file WT uses has changed? I’ll do some more tests today.

For the CQ 160 contest, copy ARRL-USVE.DTB to ARRL-ALL.DTB, as explained here:
http://lists.f5mzn.org/pipermail/support/2010-January/079274.html
The ARRL-USVE.ZIP file may be downloaded from http://download.win-test.com/databases . It is much more up-to-date than ARRL-ALL.ZIP.

Unusually, I'm a month ahead of the event!
I have two computers here running the log - one auto-completes the US state etc, the other does not.
I concluded this was a database missing on the second machine, and so copied all the database files from the other machine and the problem was fixed
However I want to check the relevant database file is the latest - I seem to recall it involves renaming the ARRL-usve.dtb file to some other name. Can someone please remind me what the file is that WT uses for CQ160 state and provinces auto-complete? The file name mentioned in the reflector postings does not seem to be the correct name.
Best wishes for the festive season to all.
