I don't think so. I have beed reported before of such a bug with old
Icom radios. WT was sending first frequency, then the mode information.
But changing mode on these Icom radios was also moving the frequency for
about 700 Hz (frequency shift due to the CW filter). As far as I can see
in my source code, WT first sends mode and frequency follows with the
Yaesu radios so this should not be the same problem. unfortunately, I
have no idea where to search :(
Anyway, I have just released version 3.0.1-wrtc, still available from
the same location. Send me a private email if you don't remember where
to connect your internet browser to.
This new version is based on the version 3. It means that WT will ask
you to convert old WTB file format to the v3. If you have to downgrade
back to version 2, you can use the File/Export menu. Remember that you
must close any opened log although you don't see the "File/Export" menu!
QSY Wizard has been fixed by Larry, as well as the "mode not preserved" bug.
I have include in Tools / CW a "CW Auto Sending mode". Keyboard
shortcuts "CWAUTOOFF", "CWAUTO3" and "CWAUTO4" can also be used.
CTRL+S mimics XSWAP.
Hope everything will be OK. I have taken half a day of holidays to work
on the WRTC version, but sorry I'll now be busy untill next Saterday.
Enjoy 3.0.1-wrtc!

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is it such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
