Richard,

I have a similar problem on the HF bands with the 2nd VFO. When I start 
Win-Test in a multiband contest, the main VFO is on 14034 KHz and the 
2nd VFO is on 14000 KHz. Then I tune the 2nd VFO to e.g. 14056 KHz. Then 
ALT-F2 for 21 MHz, then back to 14 MHz with ALT-F1. The 2nd VFO is back 
to 14000 KHz and this is for all bands.

This is about two years now, it affects only the 2nd VFO but it is 
annoying. I guess this is the same problem you encountered.
