*	It sounds like the download did not work, or you did not reload the log after updating the country file.

I tried with and without log open still same version was shown

 

*	Are you running Win-Test "As Administrator"? 

I tried that also in version 4.28 – still same result

 

*	As of right now, the version downloaded by Win-Test from  <http://win-test.com> win-test.com is about a month older (2019.09.25).  

I upgraded to version 4.29 and then I got CTY file 2019.09.25.00 – after a download still same version. Also after a “run as administrator” I still get the same version – no updates.

 

*	From  <https://bit.ly/wtscripts> https://bit.ly/wtscripts, download UpdateCtySCP.zip and follow the instructions in the Radme file. 

I had to create the folder “GnuWin32\bin” manually and place the file “wget.exe” manually before the script will work. 

 

After I ran your script I get “permission denied” on some files including the CTY files. When I open the file “cty_wt_mod.dat” is it from 25 Sep when I look in “C:\ProgramData\Win-Test\countryFiles” 

 

I have checked that all files and subfolders in “C:\ProgramData\Win-Test\” no longer are “write protected” and after a rerun of your script it is still permission denied.

When I run the script “ctyfiles64.cmd” as an administrator the files will be updates – otherwise else not!! It could be my PC that have some strange administrator rights. I do have 2 users, but both are administrators.

Joe,

 

No bug in Win-Test, but the country file you have is almost 2 years old (2017.10.20).  Z62FB is properly recognized by the current country file (2019.10.16).  Make sure CTY_WT_MOD.DAT is selected in the CTYFILES dialog.

 

It sounds like the download did not work, or you did not reload the log after updating the country file.  After the download, after you click OK, Win-Test prompts you to check a box to reload the log.  Did you check the box?

 

Are you running Win-Test "As Administrator"?  This is recommended to complete the download to the proper directory.

 

As of right now, the version downloaded by Win-Test from win-test.com <http://win-test.com>  is about a month older (2019.09.25).  

 

Try my batch file to update all the country files and super-check partial files and place them in the proper directory.  The batch file downloads directly to the AD1C server.

 

>From https://bit.ly/wtscripts, download UpdateCtySCP.zip and follow the instructions in the Radme file.  It's more work the first time, but much less work every other time.

In the just ended SAC SSB contest we did work Z62FB 

https://www.qrz.com/db/z62fb confirms that the call exits. However, Win-Test
does not know Z62FB as a DXCC multiplier. 

It is the CTY version that is not up to date, or is there an error in
Win-Test?
