*DO NOT* connect a USB cable to the K3S. Use the Elecraft E980297
cable as shown on page 19 of the Elecraft K3S Owners Manual.

Configure Win-Test and microHAM USB Device Router as documented in
the example configuration for microKEYER II and Win-Test. The
file is available in Router (Help |Download Documents), on-line in
the MK II area at www.microHAM-USA.com/Support.html on in Support ->
Application Notes -> Logger Setup Guides at www.microHAM.com.

*NEVER USE MENU:MIC+LINE = ON* in a K3 or K3S as that results in
the microphone being active when the sound card is being used (or
sound card - think "windows noises" and/or streaming audio - being
active when you do not expect audio from Windows). Be sure to
follow the "Configuring microHAM CODEC" and "Setting Audio Levels"
sections of the microKEYER II Users Manual *exactly as written*.

On one of our installations, it works, but on the other two, it does not. Also, the mic doesn’t mute when the DVK is running, even when the option is checked in the interface configuration.
