[WT-support] Win-Test in VHF/UHF Contests

Back to the VHF contest after two busy weeks and weekends.

a) I think Laurent made the required change to wtQSO:GetData() in the
nightly build now.

b) I now found the "real" vhf.dtb: It's stored in
%APPDATA%LocalVirtualStoreProgramDataWin-Testdatabasesvhf.dtb. This file
gets updated by Win-Test and is obviously used while the file in the
original location is ignored. The N+1 window says which file it uses
(vhf.dtb), but unfortunately not from which directory.

Next VHF contest in March 2017, so plenty of time.

But I've never understood why Shift+F10 (list stations worked in multiplier) only works when the multiplier (zone, locator, State, ARRL Section, etc.) is typed into the callsign field, instead of into the exchange field where it belongs.

Right now, that variable is being set to an empty string for these VHF contests, so I can't get to the copied locator info. unless it's entered elsewhere.

Yes, there is no change here. Maybe I am missing something?

 - I have my log open from previous weekend's MMC (192 QSOs)
 - vhf.dtb has 143360 bytes and is dated 20 June 2009
 - I go to File | Update Database
 - a short flash is displayed on the screen, it says something like "in
progress ... 100%" - shows up very shortly
 - vhf.dtb has not changed

When you right click on the Check Partial window and select "Used files
list...", what do you see for the file name and the date?

When you look at the properties of vhf.dtb in Windows Explorer, be sure
to look at the "Modified Date," not the "Creation Date" or "Last
Accesses" date.

Is the Win-Test shortcut marked "Run as an Administrator"? (Right Click,
Properties, select Compatibility tab). If not, update may not work.

If you still can't get it to work, please send me your .WT4 file and
your VHF.DTB file.
