Back to the VHF contest after two busy weeks and weekends.<br /><br />a) I think Laurent made the required change to wtQSO:GetData() in the nightly build now. <br /><br />b) I now found the "real" vhf.dtb: It's stored in %APPDATA%\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Win-Test\databases\vhf.dtb. This file gets updated by Win-Test and is obviously used while the file in the original location is ignored. The N+1 window says which file it uses (vhf.dtb), but unfortunately not from which directory.<br /><br />Next VHF contest in March 2017, so plenty of time.<br /><br />73 Ben, DL6RAI<br /><br />

<div>First, you never have to press the backspace key six times to erase the callsign field or any other field; just move the cursor to the field and press Ctrl-W (Current Field - Wipe).</div>

<div>It's not too hard (for me) to write a LUA script that automates most of the above keystrokes into a single keystroke. But I've never understood why Shift+F10 (list stations worked in multiplier) only works when the multiplier (zone, locator, State, ARRL Section, etc.) is typed into the callsign field, instead of into the exchange field where it belongs.</div>

<div>I thought I could also write a script that would do the equivalent of Shift+F10 for locators typed in the <em>locator</em> field instead of in the callsign field, as you suggest, but first F6FVY has to enhance wtQso:GetData() to return the contents of the Locator field received in the miscInfoReceived variable. Right now, that variable is being set to an empty string for these VHF contests, so I can't get to the copied locator info. unless it's entered elsewhere.</div>

Yes, there is no change here. Maybe I am missing something?<br /><br /> - I have my log open from previous weekend's MMC (192 QSOs)<br /> - vhf.dtb has 143360 bytes and is dated 20 June 2009<br /> - I go to File | Update Database<br /> - a short flash is displayed on the screen, it says something like "in progress ... 100%" - shows up very shortly<br /> - vhf.dtb has not changed</blockquote>
