Hello, There is real problem with the French overseasprefixes, which we are trying to solvewith our local autorithies. We hope to get an associated number (orbetter) to TO for each DXCC entity, at leastfor the common ones (ie outside rare ones as FT orso). We could have TO1 for FM,TO2 for FG, and so on, or somethingsimilar. But it's a hard job, almost no one cares aboutit ... Only contesters really need thischange, and contesters are a tear drop in theham ocean. 73Hervé FY/F5HRY

- From the Win-Test menu, select File | Explore | /countryFiles directory
- Right click on CTY_WT_MOD.DAT
- Select Open With...
- Select Notepad
- Press Ctrl-F (Find)
- Enter "french g" (without the quotes)
- Press Enter to search
- Move the cursor down 1 line
- Change it to:
FY,=TO2A;
- From the menu select File | Exit
- Click "Yes" to save changes
- Back in the Win-Test logging window, type REOPENNOW [Enter] to reload and rescore the log with the new country file
Or just wait for AD1C to update the country files after the contest (probably within the next few days).
