[WT-support] Mic/Headset not muting

Discovered an issue, which may have been present for the past several months after replacing one of the computers.

Mic will not mute when the voice keyer is playing.
Computer is a relatively new XP system.

Box in "configure interfaces" is checked. Tried un-checking and vice-versa. Restarted WinTest. Restarted computer.
Went into the settings on the computer and tried various selections.
If the INPUT MONITOR is muted in Windows the mic is muted when the voice keyer is playing. However, this also kills the mic for everything else. The voice keyer still plays the recorded message in this case.
If the INPUT MONITOR is not muted the mic is "hot" all the time....also while an F-Message is being transmitted.

The computer only has two ports on the sound card. Blue and red (LINE IN and MIC) are consolidated into this one port.

Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Do not want to mic to be "hot" when a voice keyer message is being transmitted.
Possibly a sound card incompatibility issue since the LINE IN and MIC are combined into one port?

Suggestions welcome!
