[WT-support] Win-Test 4.10.0 on Windows 8

Is there anything that needs to be done in advance of updating to Windows 8?

Presently am running XP and plan to upgrade to WIN8 for its improved audio capabilities on digital modes.

1. Uninstall Win-Test
2. Right click on wt-4.10.0.exe
3. Select "Run as Administrator"
4. Right click on the new WT icon and select "Run as Administrator".
If you get the same result, open the Windows Event Viewer (Start, Run, eventvwr.msc) and see if you can find an error message under "Applications."
