Bob, Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, a small number of RUN1
QSOs were made on the STN2 computer, so I will not be able to do exactly as you
have suggested.
K1XX has suggested using Excel to make the changes and then reconstructing
the CAB file, and that is probably what I will do. Either way, each of you
have given me solutions that I can work with.
Do you think that my suggestion of having a message prompt the operator to
set the Station Type when a network is established can (or will) be
implemented in a future WT release?
Thanks, George.

Many people run into this problem when operating as a Multi-2. They
forget to set RUN1 and RUN2.
Assuming all RUN1 QSOs were made on the computer called STN1 (or similar),
and all RUN2 QSOs were made STN2, it's a simple matter (for those skilled
with advanced text editors), to use Win-Test to export the log as a .txt
file, including the station name, then copy and paste that column of data
(only) into your Cabrillo file, changing STN1 to "0" and STN2 to "1".
If you don't have an editor that can paste columns, just send me your .WT4
file (not your Cabrillo file), and I'll do it for you. You can locate
your .WT4 file by selecting File | Explore | /log directory from the Win-test
menu.

We ran a two-transmitter network in WinTest for yesterday's NAQP. We got
nearly to the end of the contest before I realized that I had not set the
Station Type for Run-1 and Run-2 for the two radios. Since all Qsos were
logged as Run-1, I now must go thru several hundred Qsos and change them from
Run-1 to Run-2.
Is there an easy way to do this in the log? I know that I can go thru the
Cab file and do a search and replace in Note Pad, but I would like to do
it in the log file if I can.
Here is a suggestion: In WT, have a message prompt the operator to set the
Station Type when a network is established. I'm sure that many users
would benefit by having this feature.
