Hello allThis weekend, during this WPX I made I mistake that I need to
learn from.
I was running and somehow (I must have hit some key) the cursor was way up in the
log, in a past qso. I typed the call that came back to me (without checking the screen)
and hit the "Ins" key to send the exchange. When I heard some starnge things
being sent I hit Alt-W to clear everything  and put the call again. Only then I
looked at the screen and found I had erased a past QSO.
In panic I could not find a way to fix or recover the lost info, So I
had to fill in a dupe and go down to the entry field and log the call.
I thought about saving the log under a new name, but could not find how in the
heat of the run. So, a QSO was lost and someone will receive a Bad QSO penaly due to my
mistake.
My two questions to the WT community:
1 -  is there anything I could have done to recover the erased QSO at that
time?
2 - How do I avoid that in the future (ok, I shoud learn touch typing). Is there a
way to protect the log from unwanted edits?
Otherwise I really enjoy WT
Thank you all
