I don´t think that this is necessary - I use my two 765s with MK2R+ 
without changing the standard CI-V adress. This would be necessary only 
if you´d like to use the two radios connected to *one*  CI-V bus. The 
MK2R+ provides two different CI-V busses, each of them assigned to a 
different virtual com port..At least, this works fine for me.
