I asked him to try 6E but he says that he cannot enter 6E into USB Router! But I try myself and it picks 6E as default so I guess he messed something up. It should probably work with 6E.
Thanks.

Tonno,
default address for PRO III is 6E, if I remember it OK.
However, he can check that in OTHER menu on TRX, where other communication parameters are show (CI-V, baud rate etc.)..
Check the rate in TRX too..

Actually ES5RY was having problem to get IC756 PROIII CAT to work. USB Router shows frequency and everything is fine but Win-Test does not read CAT.
He used MK2R+ and settings:
19200, 8, N, 1. Address 50h. No settings in WT worked (CI-V on/off, handshake, always on/off, tried 4800 rate in the rig and USB router...)
Any idea why WT might not read CAT while all fine in USB router? (same port of course and USB router says port opened)
Can it be the problem of the address? Is 50h correct for PRO III?

After several private messages back and forth, I finally noticed that this not the default CI-V address for an IC-7700.
Waldi changed the CI-V address back the default, 74h, then Win-Test worked fine.
