Hi!

I know this is not Win-Test related issue, but hope to have some help this way.

We're trying to get MK2R+ and Windows 7 work together, but there's
some issues we haven't been able to deal with. We have latest router
version and MK2R+ FW. The exactly same setup works perfect with Win
XP. We're actually having XP and Win 7 computers here side by side
just to make sure that this really seems to be Win 7 related issue.
Also the same problems we're having with Win 7, does appear in Windows
Vista computer:

1) Bad TX audio quality in MK2R+ voice keyer.
- When recording the voice message, there's always audio brum in
recording. Even if mic is disconnected from MK2R+, there's clearly
audible brum making recording quality bad. This problem does not
appear with XP.
- Things we've tried do far to make audio sound better:
* removed all audio effects from USB audio and Voice codec
* set audio levels from Win7 according to microHam manual
* tried with different recording quality settings from Win7

2) Every once in a while router have lost the audio codecs.
- The codecs are still visible in router, but no recording or playback
are possible. If one press the rec or playback button, light in button
just flash but no recording or playback begins. Also everything else
seems to be working OK, like radio control or winkey. Removing the
USB-cable and plugging it back makes things work again.
- What we've done so far:
* Removed computer own power manager SW to let Windows take care of
all power control
* Disabled all USB-power saving options
* Checked all BIOS settings for USB
* Disabled all other software or processes that may try to use
USB-audio or -voice codecs.

Have anyone else noticed anything similar with Win 7 (or Vista)? As
said, everything works in XP...
