Let's get back to basics :

1/ Are you talking about the + key located in the main part of the 
keyboard *or* the numpad + key  ?

2/ What kind of keyboard layout are you using ? I mean, standard US 
QWERTY keyboard, etc ?

3/ Check the CapsLock key is not engaged

4/ If you're *not* running SO2R, ensure the Operating / Technique is set 
to SO1R / MultiOp
