[WT-support] Trouble with MK2R and K2

Thanks Bob for your advices. I followed you instructions, but no use. I think the trouble does'nt have something to do with Wintest as the router never displays the K2 frequency (neither VF0 A nor VF0 B), so I think the problem lies in the communication between the MK2R and the K2. Am I wrong ?
Other ideas ?

Did you set Handshake to Always OFF for both DTR and RTS in Win-Test SETUP for the Radio COM port? 4800,N,8,2?

If that is not it, exit Win-Test, power OFF the K2, wait for the microHAM Router frequency display to go gray, turn the K2 back on, wait for router to display the K2's frequency, then restart Win-Test.

You may also wish to see if there is a radio type option "K2 patched" in the Router program, similar to "K3 patched" which seems to work better with the K3 than the "normal" K3 selection.

    Hello everybody,
I try to put my newly acquired MK2R into operation with my K2 and get trouble with the CAT connection under Wintest.
Data flow only from the host (Wintest) to the K2 : for instance, I can change band from inside Wintest or enter a QRG and the K2 works accordingly. The right arrow on the port tab inside the MK2-Router software ist green.
But from the K2 to wintest, no way : for instance changing the frequency or the mode opr anything else on the K2 does not change anything inside Wintest. And the arrow in the MK2-Router software remains grey.
The cable is OK (I have tried with two different cables). Without the MK2, i.e. with a direct cable beetween Wintest and the K2 , it works fine in both directions.
    Any Idea ?
