This is a very good description of what I also have been through. It almost
drives me insane not to have this working.

I think there are still a few issues in the protocol implementation for
the microHam protocol. I really hope this will be solved soon. It's very
essential to have the audio and CW switching working on milliseconds basis.
Contesting is so very much about timing... :-)

I also think some of the set-ups are in WinTest are rather confusing.
For instance when you are using the WinKeyer built into a microHam product
the WinKeyer setup dialog says it should not be used. But is it really so?
It would be good to have everything greyed out on that dialogue if you are
using a microHam embedded WinKeyer. Is this only true if the MicroHam protocol
is used? I am very confused on this.

Since I own a microHam u2R I am willing to help testing this, just
let me know.
