[WT-support] 746 Pro Still Won't Send To WT

Thanks to Bob for all his help! But after a marathon session I still
don't have the ports able to read the 746 as yet. I am thinking now it
might be the non-standard but very popular CT-IV cable that I am using
instead of the Icom CT-17. These are the cables that are always on
eBay if you search on CT-17 and which sell from ten to twenty-five
dollars. The reason I am suspecting this is because these cables seem
to get their power from the DTS pin so that DTS must always be set to
ON. Maybe WT doesn't like that because the WT default for the 746 Pro
is DTS OFF. But if I turn DTS OFF then it all fails. In Ham Radio
Deluxe and Digipan this is ON. I may speing for a CT-17 just to see
but the $100 is a big gamble. Does anyone else here use one of these
non-standard but very available C-IV cables with WT -- do you have DTS
set to ON and does it work for you? Thanks.
