The file size increase is absolutely nominal (already mentioned in
previous posts). Nothing wrong here.

Don't rely much on DEPENDS. It may be fooled for some reasons we are
aware of. BTW, the *current* version (4.1.0) of WT exhibits the same
"error / warning" !
We just need to know what is happening when wt_dev.exe is started, and
where / when it crashes.
It is working flawlessly on my XP machine...
