PTT is supposed to be "automatic" for the WinKey2 chip in a WinKeyUSB box,
but the original WinKey chip (which Win-Test officially supports), has a big
limitation:

"WK1’s 8 pin package forced Pin 5 to be a shared resource, it could be
assigned as a PTT output, a Sidetone output, or a secondary Key output: If
it was assigned as a PTT output, that meant it was not possible to output
sidetone. Likewise if it was assigned as a secondary Key output, sidetone or
PTT were not allowed."

So with a WK1 it is apparently impossible to simultaneously support two Key
lines and two PTT lines. This limitation no longer exists in the WinKey2
chip, but code written to be compatible with either device (like Win-Test)
cannot use the new functions. New code will be required, and new options on
the WKSETUP window.

To summarize, yes, it would be nice if Win-Test 4 would finally support some
of the enhanced SO2R capabilities of the WinKey2, especially when you press
[*] to swap primary and secondary radios. Setting Pin 5 to Radio 2 almost
does the job today, but not quite.

Perhaps a new $WK=cmd message variable could be added to V4, as has been
previously suggested. This would give us (the Win-Test users) a way to make
the WinKey2 work as well as it does with N1MM while we are waiting for the
Win-Test developers to figure out how they want to add official support the
WinKey2. The $MK2R=cmd that exists today cannot be used to control the
WinKey inside a microHAM box, unfortunately (microHAM restriction).
