Storing all the .WT4 files in "My Documents\Win-Test" would be fine, but
that's not the way it works. It creates a *new directory* for *every *new
contest log, and it puts only *one* .WT4 file in it. How is that "more
organized?"
If Win-Test created one directory per contest *type*, or maybe one directory
per *year,* that might help organize things, but that's not how WT4 works
today.
I wonder if next time I run the same contest, can I pull up the all the

Since window positions and most of the CW messages are saved in the .WT4
file, you need to manually copy "last year's contest log" to a new name,
then open the new name, then run CLEARLOGNOW to empty it of QSOs.
Yes you can save window positions to use as a default for new logs (via
Options | Windows | Default layout), but there's no equivalent for CW and
RTTY messages.
