thanks for reply.
As you can see from my previous message (link)
I use Windows XP Pro  SP3.
I had the Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (Advanced)
already installed, then I also installed the LAME ACM Codec.
Nothing changes whatever codec I select, either 
LAME or Fraunhofer.
Please tell me if I can do something to help you
narrowing down this problem.
I will be away from this list for next 3-4 days.
