I think there’s something wrong with the ports..

 

I suggest this:

 

On WT

 

Options|Configure Interfaces|Port Number| 9871

 

On wtDxTelnet

 

WinTest communication network properties|Port Number| 9871 <<<<<<<<<<< here
you have 41112

 

 

The option “start/stop automatically” options works like this if enabled:

- On startup of WT, launches wtDxTelnet

- On close/exit of WT, terminates wtDxTelnet

 

Of course if you close wtDxTelnet separately after being launched by WT, WT
doesn’t have control over this and will not launch wtDxTelnet again.

It’s only for the startup and close events of WT program.
