Tnx Bob.

In the meanwhile I've checked the compatibility between WT configurations
and those of wtDXTelnet :

WT

Options|DX Cluster|Local wtDxTelnet|Start/Stop automatically - done (was
already)

Options|Configure Interfaces|Ethernet|Enable - done (was already)

Options|Configure Interfaces|Broadcast Adress|By Default - 192.168.1.255

Options|Configure Interfaces|Port Number|By Default - 9871 (by default)

wtDxTelnet

DX Cluster Connection Properties|Profile|CS1SEL-5

DX Cluster Connection Properties|Profile name|CS1SEL-5

DX Cluster Connection Properties|Hostname/IP| hamradio.isel.ipl.pt (by
search)

DX Cluster Connection Properties|Port| 41112 (by search)

DX Cluster Connection Properties|Login|CT4NH

WinTest communication network properties|Broadcast IP address|192.168.1.255

WinTest communication network properties|Port Number|41112

WinTest communication network properties|Application ID|TELNET

So:

- wtDXTelnet working alone OK

- checked CS1SEL-5 data and port number is 41112

- changed port number in Options|Configure Interfaces|Port Number|By
Default - 9871 (by default!?) now 41112

- started up WT AND wtDxTelnet aside and all working OK , as before.

- Shutted down (EXIT - Alt+F4) wtDxTelnet and WT stopped receiving
data so "start/stop automatically" not working?

- Restarted wtDxTelnet and WT started receiving data again.

-

What am I doing wrongly? For sure something hi hi.

Sorry Bob and all others!

And Tnx!

Luis,CT4NH

In "DXCluster settings" I've choosed "autoconnect at start up" and also "try
to restore connection automatically".

There is a tab in Wintest for this one in Options | DX Cluster |
wtDxTelnet | Start/Stop locally automatically.

Thanks Juha, but, as mentioned, I've done that and still not working.

Luis, Juha is right. It really sounds like you set the options in
wtDxTelnet OK, but forgot to set the other option, in the Win-Test:

WinTest Menu: Options | DX cluster | Local wtDxTelnet | Start/stop
automatically.

Please see

http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Menu:Options#Start.2Fstop_wtDxTelnet_automatic
ally

for a picture of the option menu. There should be a check mark next to
"Start/stop automatically".

Both Win-Test and wtDxTelnet have "automatic" options, but it sounds like
you only set one, and you need to set both.

Bob, N6TV
