Yes, my mic is plugged into my sound card.
All of my settings are set up exactly as you described below. I just verified this.
I still have no input audio from the headset after I change from cw back to ssb.

Did you check the two "Mute the microphone" check boxes in the Interface configuration (SETUP) screen? If your mic. is plugged into your sound card, the last one should probably be unchecked.

Also, Start, Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Audio tab

  Sound playback section

Volume button, Microphone Slider, make sure to uncheck "Mute"

  Sound recording section

Volume button, Microphone Slider, make sure to check "Select"

    Upon testing the CTRL-F1/F2....same result.
However, I did discover that when I change from CW back to SSB, no matter how I do it (CTRL-Fx or just do it on the radio), I still have no voice input when I speak into the mic....however, if I press a F-message key it transmits the recorded message. After that, I have my vox audio back. Seems pretty strange.

Are you using WT 3.22? I tried both WT 3.21 and WT 3.22 for an IARU contest, but I could not replicate the problem. Switching from CW to SSB with Ctrl-F1 worked fine. The F1 message plays back as expected.

Please send a screen shot of your SETUP menu (probably too big for the reflector, so just send it to me).

Setting up my first 3 stations and put them on the air for the first time tonight I discovered a problem.
This happened on all 3 stations and Wintest was set up for a mixed-mode contest (IARU) in this case.
Testing out ssb with a friend, we next went to cw. Upon returning to ssb I could not transmit on ssb.
        I had to click OPTIONS>CONFIGURE INTERFACES>OK.
After doing that, ssb audio came back to life.

It seems as if the "enable soundcard" is being turned off and has to be turned back on again after changing from cw back to ssb although when I open the config window it shows to be still turned on.

I would think that this would have been discovered during a past IARU contest in which someone was doing mixed mode. Or perhaps this is just something recent OR I have overlooked something.

I have yet to find anything that will tell me why this is happening.
