Nope, no "memory tune" is active on the radio.

I just got a bunch of new computers and this is my first shot at getting the first one set up.
FT1000D set to default settings.
DTR/RTS both set to default always off.
I will have to look into that memory tune issue.
This is a REAL serial port and no microham controller.
This thing seems to poll a lot faster than it did with NA/CT. Even changing the settings from auto to the others seems to have no effect. This is not an issue as far as I am concerned but just thought I'd mention it.
I will look into the m-tune and get back to you.
Thanks for the hint.
Bob

Did you press the "FT1000D Default Settings Button"?
SETUP [Enter], [Configure ...], [FT1000 default settings].
DTR and RTS should then be set to the default: "Always off".
The "memory tune" feature of the radio must also be off.
Are you using a real serial port or a USB to serial adapter? Are you using a microHAM controller?

Can click on spots...radio goes.
Can click on vfo a or b....radio swaps.
Can enter freq and radio goes.
Will not track as I dial.
What did I miss?
