[WT-support] Now is 3.19 : is the 3.18 the new "stable" release ?

What you try to do tonno ? Open old contest file or create new ? Never 
encounter problem as you describe. All version seem to be SO stable even 
last. Looking your computer for mistake perhaps like antivirus, malware 
or something that blocking software or network ?
