I have been having problems with 3.18 and 3.19 when opening a log file. It just crashes asking me to CLOSE and if I want to report the error to mr. Gates or not. No obvoius reason for that and it has done so on several computers and several different contests. Tonight I needed 4 tries to get the log open. Has anybody else seen that??

Every new released version available from our website (download section)
and announced on this list is reputed as stable.
So 3.19.0 is reputed as stable. At least, until now...
Only the nightly builds (only available from our repository and named
with a -dev suffix) can't be reputed as stable because dvpt is usually
in progress in the code.
Note that every new version offers new functionalities, but also can fix
some bugs (we are human ;-) ).
That's why we always recommand to use the last stable version, and also
give a link to the last *previous* version, to allow a rollback, just in
case.
You can also choose to keep your current version, unless you require a
functionnality implemented in a newer one.
