Bob,

this implies either reduced flexibility or inconsistency.

It is often necessary to change the station type from RUN to MULT during
a contest (equipment fails and station rearrangement is often quickly
required) using the keyboard commands. It is always necessary when the
station is arranged to move the RUN station type. It is good to preserve
this.

Having the station type fixed in the contest configuration screen will
either mean inconsistency when commands RUN RUN1 MULT etc are typed or a
restart of wintest will required (precisely at the turmoil of
rearranging things after a failure). I am sure the manual will be to
blame when the wintest restart gets missed.
