Hi Olivier;

I attach more comments to the points below, and cut away some of the extra
comments:

Did you try to stop/restart both Win-Test and USB Router? Anyway, please
get in touch if that happens too frequently!

NKC - I certainly restarted USBII, so I must also have restarted WT. In
USBII, I could "see" my radio, and I could test both the PTT and the CW
port. But not with WT started. I don't know if there is another service that
WT lost from the PC. But a complete restart fixed it. It wasn't a power
save issue; I left the PC on then for the complete 48 hours, and even when I
had a rest, I never had to restart anything....

We did use WT with either Winkey and the internal CW keyer @TM2Y and I
don't remember that anybody complained about irregular speed (except the
speed jump with WinKey which seems still not working perfectly).

NKC - I remember thinking that I would have liked to measure the speed
differences; it just seemed to be a little variable; I could tell to my
ear....

Are you talking about the F5MZN-3 dx cluster? If so, the server is not
very stable and crashed a lot of time during the contest! By chance,
there is watchdog which does restart it automatically in case of freeze.

NKC - Yes; MZN-3 (the one that is in the default of WT !). You have the
answer; maybe there could be a further enhancement in WT to automatically
reconnect with a small script file ?? It was a little bit difficult having
to re-enter your call and password when you had the automatic reconnect; it
only does part of the job for you ???? Just an idea !
