[WT-support] Few questions/comments

ByeBye was a great addition!! I was very satisfied even though it is true that there is a half second delay and it is of course visible that it opens the ALT-C window and then sends the message when the window is opened.

BTW, I often used it for sending long exchange for the ones who had trouble with ENN AE:) and when I queued the message from BB (pushing F5 and BB message immidiately after it) then it sent the message without any extra delay and very nicely.

I am not programmer and was not quite sure from the logic that is it possible to use this BB program to set a key combination under e.g. F9. Say to activate AUTOSENDING for example..or AUTOCQ...??

**

A small problem I have had a few times is 3.18 crashing immidiately after start. That has never happened before to other versions but now about 5 times with 3.18 on different computers. Once it stays on it does not happen any more. I don't know if anyone else noticed...

Hi Denny

Because not everyone here use the RUN/S&P switch (I personnaly never
did, and I know dozens of people who never do too). So, WT can't
distinct if the callsign you entered follows a CQ *or* is an answer to a
caller. Thus, WT enters it in the bandmap in every case, to be sure.
BTW, I don't see any drawback to that.

I can't say much on that because I use 7 F-keys only (actually 4...),
but it may be related to the fact that ByeByeCT is an interpreted
program only which "replays" key presses. It means that, even if you
don't see it clearly, ByeByeCT "opens" the additional message wnd and
send the appropriate message. Of course, it is not as quick as a
build-in function, but it can help some users.
