Hi the list,

I'm currently working on the RTTY leg support in WT for the WAE. Sadly I
never participate to that contest and I have no idea how to well manage
RTTY for. This is why I I'd like to have your opinion about.

o Transmitting QTC

How the SW must care on transmitting QTC? Sending all them once? QTC by
QTC? Both?

o Receiving QTC

What are the usual "format" for sending QTC? Is it always one of:
	"TIME/CALLSIGN/SERIAL"
	"TIME CALLSIGN SERIAL"
	"TIME-CALLSIGN-SERIAL"

Are these fields always sent in that order?

Does some operators send some "parasic" characters or information sent
on each row?

Actually, I'd like to develop a "filter" in order to automatically fill
the received QTC window from what we got in the RTTY window. What's
best: being able to select every received QTC at once (letting the
software automatically sort and fill the "QTC receive Window")?
Highlighting each QTC row in the RTTY window, letting the op to click
each of them in the appropriate order? That second way will be easier to
deal with if there is some garbage around... In fact, I'm afraid that
being able to select all the QTC at once could product very strange
results in case of error/garbage, with the disadvantage of spending lots
of time to fix during the battle.

o Specific advices/requirements

Fell free to tell if you have any advices or specific requirements for
the RTTY leg. I'll do my best to consider everything, but please don't
think to *your* personnal needs, but rather to what should the software
do for making most users happy with. And please don't cry for the moon
and stars: I will consider everything but won't develop something
impossible! :-)

Thank you for your help and comprehension!
