[WT-support] CONTROL OF TEN-TEC OMNI VI

Hello,


I never managed to get my OMNI -VI working properly. Afer upgrading the 
radios firmware to OMNI VI+ (available from TenTec), the radio control 
works fine, but only with the icom - generic - setting.

This may be the reason. IC-735 uses 4 bytes for frequency information, 
the other ICOM - radios and the OMNI VI  in standard configuration use 
5. You can change this in the OMNI VI  menue.

> Suggestion seemed to be to use the generic ICOM setting, specifying 04 
> for the address and 9600baud. Is that still the best prescribed solution? 


I achieve the best results with that settings. You should also check the 
"Use CI-V transceive" in WinTest and enable CI-V transceive in the TTs 
menue.
