The compatibility remains, even for recent Win-Test releases (4.7.0 or dev).

Like every year, and if time permits, we will release in early July a 
dedicated HQ Win-Test version (based on 4.8.0-dev).

Regarding the contest recorder issues, it looks like it depends on 
various parameters, especially the sampling and encoding rates. I must 
confess I'm not familiar at all with this part of the code (Olivier 
F5MZN wrote it), and not very inclined to risk a regression by 
attempting to fix that before this IARU contest.
