If you use Windows Explorer, you can change the properties of
install-interception to *Run as an Administrator*. Then it can write to
the required folders. But first remove the other Compatibility settings.
Do you see the interception_dll\x64 and \ia64 subdirectories located
exactly the same as they are in the Zip file? It sounds like they are not
in the expected folders for the installer.
Try replacing the 64-bit DLL in the Win-Test folder and system32\drivers\
with the x86 (32-bit) version, as only 32-bit DLLs belong in the \Program
Files (x86)\Win-Test\ directory and system32.
Also, are you trying to install this driver under a VM like Parallels or
Wine? Is the CPU an AMD or Intel chip?

Hi
Looks like wintest is installed correctly, I run it as admin (set up that
way). Can’t be sure if the wt install was also admin, the SW works ok so
perhaps it was.
Interception:
First, with plain settings for the installer, without paramaters it says
Usage: install-interception [/install I /uninstall]
Running install-interception / install says
This versions of windows is not supported.
Trying compatibility settings gets you
Cant write to system32/drivers
Trying WTremote will give
The application was unable to start correctly(0xc000007b). Click to close….
I tried various compatibility settings, same result.
The x64 interception dll is in the wt directory and the system32/drivers
directory.
…. I will test this on a win10 x32 PC next before trying debug more on
this PC

After you ran install-interception, did you remember to reboot Windows 10
before trying to run wtRemote? Apparently that is required.
Also, when you installed Win-Test, you're also supposed to run the
installer as an Administrator. And the Win-Test shortcut must also be
marked "Run as an Administrator."
If you forgot to do all of that, reinstall everything, then reboot, then
try to run wt-Remote.
Change the settings of install-interception.exe back to the way they were,
and run it from a command line without an argument. What does it display?
Maybe all you have to do is copy interception_dll\x86\interception.dll to
the c:\Program Files (x86)\Win-Test\ folder (Adminstrator rights required
to do that).

In win 10 admin rights CMD window is a different menu choice but same idea
(I hope).
What next…???

Did you remember to select *Run as an Administrator* to start a Windows
Command Prompt to install it?

All,
I am trying to get the interception driver working on a win10 x64 pc but
wt-remote continues to say that the interception.dll is not installed.
I seem have been able to run the interception driver installer as needed as
described in the instructions.
Where should the dll be located? WT-folder? System32?
Also, does the WT-Remote+ interception driver pair work on a WIN10 X32 PC
directly as X64 is difficult?
Motivation: I tried N1MM+ and the 2 keyboard experimental feature in
CQWWCW and it is too immature for actual use, at least with my tired eyes.
Would like to try wintest + SM5AJV scripts next and perhaps even develop
this more myself since the script interface is open (LUA) unlike in N1MM+
(no script interface).
What to try next?
Thanks!
