Thanks Nigel. That worked. For others, you must add the call used to the DAT file in use.
The latest download of the required DAT file does not have the latest TO calls embedded (as Olof also pointed out) which is a pity.
Bob - Makes no difference running as Admin.

Hello Stewart and Dave,
Yes, I've had this problem many times in the past (TX4T, TX6T, TX6T/p etc).
The Country DAT File that you are using when you start Win-Test must be able to recognise unambiguously in which country YOUR CALL is. Otherwise it freaks out in the manner you describe!
Hope you enjoyed the numerous (but expensive!) delights of FJ - St Barts.

Did you set the Win-Test shortcut to "Run as Administrator"? If not, Win-Test will look elsewhere for the country file.
You should also try updating CTY.DAT in case Win-Test uses that file for the prefix check at start-up.

I have a copy of the TO4K log as I was one of the operators. When I try to open the log on my own PC it fails with the following error:
“The used callsign does not match with any known DXCC country. File opening canceled.”
Downloading the latest cty_wt_mod.dat (in a different instance) makes no difference.
Any suggestions?

P.S. The misspelling of “cancelled” is not mine.
