Thank’s for fast reply!

Now is Fraunhofer codec installed and it works again well!

Damned, lost a lot of hours with wrong Codec, Lame doesn't work as Fraunhofer Codec?!?!?!

Please indicate your radio type, and how the audio output of the radio (which connector?) is routed to your MK2R+.

You have to use the buttons at the top right of the MK2R+ to indicate the recording source, LINE OUT or "WYH" (what you hear). Try enabling WYH.

Though it shouldn't make any difference, the Fraunhofer CODEC is generally more reliable than LAME. See prior posts to this reflector for information on how to enable it on Windows 8 (search archives for "chortkeh"). I think CT1ILT is the only one who couldn't get it to work, for others it worked fine. See

Hi there!

After new installation due new machine and OS win8.1 Pro, Win-Test Version 4.19.0 is installed.

All of the most items are running well, using Microham MK2R+.

LAME MP3 Codec v0.9.2 - 3.99.5 also installed and so on ...

Contest Recorder works well in SSB but no in CW????

Player using 4-USB Audio Codec

Recorder using 4-USB Audio Codec

Sound settings are 4-USB Voice Codec for play as standard and

4-USB Voixe Codec for record as standard.

If I change these settings it's the same, SSB works but not recording in CW.

Any idea please?
