Yes, the term Exchange can be a bit confusing. In the case of the ARRL DX
contest, the Exchange is your ARRL Section. The log checkers need to know
this in order to award certificates in the Section from which the stn
operated. In your case, this was ENY.

Any time the robot tells me that my Location is not correct, it reminds me
to enter my Section. At least, this is the case with an ARRL HF contest.

Would have expected "Exchange" to be the exchange sent since NY was the
exchange, but ENY is the section. At least to me it was counter
intuitive. Lesson learned ;-)

had the program create the export files. When I looked at the Cabrillo
file, it looked OK. I submitted the log to the ARRL. The file said location
unknown. Looked on line to see what they wanted. I guessed it was looking for
the state. Resubmitted the log and got the same reply.

added the correct line: LOCATION: ENY It was looking for the section, not
the state. It appears that Win-Test does not add the Location line at all. I
am not sure why!
