Thanks Bob,

I doubt RFI. This is a low-power contest, and so I was running just 100w into co-ax fed antennas 100 metres from the house at 1.1:1 VSWR. The station here as been bomb-proof for years at full power. But I'll have a look around to see if there is any problem of that sort. 

I guess (hope) I may have to wait another ten years for it to happen again!
