[WT-support] SO2R Question

Are you using a micro2R or are MK2R+? They don't work the same with
Win-Test. With the MK2R+, Win-Test has more control. It sounds like you
are using a micro2R (aka U2R).
With the micro2R in AUTO, headphone switching is controlled according to
the programming defined in the Router's Audio Tab, Headphones section, not
by Win-Test (unless Win-Test activates stereo mode).
With the micro2R, one thing that can help put Win-Test in control is to *
disconnect* the PTT OUT line from the back of each radio, and instead
connect these PTT lines directly to your amplifiers, bypassing PTT control
via the MK2R+. I also recommend using "Classic" Auto control under the
SO2R tab so that Win-Test doesn't send any PTT commands via the microHAM
control protocol. Otherwise, whenever the micro2R detects
computer-generated PTT, it overrides the headphone switching that Win-Test
wants to do.
