Bob,
Your CQWW CW check list is fantastic...thanks for it.
Is there a way to turn off the information window that pops up when the
mouse hovers over a spot in the band map? I find the window to be very
annoying, as I tend to park my mouse over the band map which, of course, causes
the window to pop up. I don't find that I ever take the time to read what
is in the window, however, it may be useful for some ops, but not for me.
Here is another issue. In this weekend's SS contest, I was using the
VE7CC-1 Telnet cluster. However, during the entire contest, it would
disconnect every few minutes. I would then have to reconnect it to keep my spots
flowing. Can you suggest what might have been causing the disconnects?

Last year at this time I published a list of my own personal preferences
and reminders regarding various Win-Test options and settings. These are
especially important to review when setting up Win-Test for the first time on
a new machine. Even on old machines, there are various support files
such as MASTER.DTA and CTY_WT_MOD.DAT that really need to be updated before
starting the contest.

I suggest reviewing it before the contest.
GL to all in CQ WW CW!
