[WT-support] Winkey sending only single character

Hi Bob,

I used to that Winkey V22 with VSPE to WT on my remote a few years ago successfully. WT was running on local machine and was talking to the VSPE virtual port on the PC. It must have been v4 something.

No config left, that PC has been recycled and Winkey is not in use anymore.

Has anyone here on this reflector ever tried connecting a WinKey serial via an Ethernet to RS-232 adapter?

This is a very unusual configuration.  Can you try an FTDI USB-to-Serial adapter, or a real serial port, to see if the problem goes away?

Which Ethernet-to-RS232 box are you using?   What version of WinKey chip (displayed by Win-Test after initialization).

Are you using the WinKey default settings, especially the handshake settings?

Please send me your WT.INI file and your log (.WT4) file, and any screen shots of the Eltima device driver setup parameters, and Ethernet-to-RS232 box setup screens.

In the mean time, try removing all "+++" and "---" commands from your CW messages.  We've had problems in the past with this.
