[WT-support] blinking modes

Hi Bob and list, no Orion (565 type) do not allow to change the baud rate of serial port.
Yesterday I tested again this, but sometimes in multi mode contest in this configuration modes blinks even if delay are higher than 1000ms.
In my setup Orion are connected to EZMaster CAT ports and both are routed to Win-Test via USB port. Because I'm not a CW operator :-( I never fight the problem for a "real solution".
Ciao

Manuel,
Does the Orion allow you to change the baud rate from 57600 to a lower value like 38400 or 19200? If so, does Auto mode work any better? Is it only at 57600 that Auto mode doesn't work with Win-Test and the Orion?

Yes when setting 1000 ms modes do not blinks, but cat related stuff "looks slow".
This is not the solutions, but works...
Main problem is the slight speed difference of Orion's serial port.
Connecting Orion's to serial ports directly on pc the problem disapper, but not in all computers.

IK3STG and K4TD reported similar problems of mode changing rapidly from CW to SSB when using the TenTec Orion with Win-Test. The solution was to change the polling rate from Auto to 1000 ms at the bottom of the Win-Test Interfaces Configuration screen.
I asked NN3NW to try that and it seemed to help quite a bit. He was using real serial ports COM1 and COM2 with 57600,8,N,1 on both.

I've rechecked everything and it still blinks. It does it when one radio is on SSB and the other radio is on CW.
Using Wintest 4.7.0
