[WT-support] help: connecting 2 laptops???

i have exactly connected two dell latitude c840 laptops per the WT  help file. as follows

comp1 address is 192.168.0.1             255.255.255.0   STATION    ALEX1
compt2  address 192.168.0.2              255.255.255.0 station 2        ALICE
options config:interface  on      address   192.168.0.255    port 2871  BOTH
 
  using same wt 4.3 program, same file etc-

-no go


i get the folloowing error messaqge when trying to gab--


"ethernet:  error sending udp protocol $ 10004"

??? and help?? ideas???

i have previously set this paqir of computers up in a network and they worked just fb once upon a time  !!
