I’m setting up the Wintest to the ARRL in CW, but I have a problem. The F1
transmit TEST, I change it and it keeps transmitting the same and I can’t
change it. (Ex. CQ TEST WP3C WP3C TEST)  Please any help will be well
received.

Chances are Win-Test is in S&P mode, and the S&P mode F1 message is set to
something else (like TEST).  Press Shift F1 to change the message, (or type
MSGS [Enter] in the logging window).

To see what mode you are in, select Windows | Clock and look for the word
"RUN" or "S&P" in the right hand side of the clock window.  To toggle to RUN
mode, press Ctrl-Tab.

If you really don't care about RUN or S&P mode, and you just want the F1 key
to send the same thing every time, type NORUNSP [Enter] in the logging
window.  In the MSGS dialog, under the "Options" tab, you can also check
"Ignore S&P messages."

Another possibility is that F1 has been assigned to run a script, and the
script plays one of the alternate messages (Alt-C).   Type SCRIPTS [Enter]
in the logging window to check this.  Or perhaps F1 was redefined using
DEFINEKEYS ?

If you still cannot figure out what is wrong, send me your .WT4 file and
your WT.INI file (found by doing File | Explore / cfg directory).

73,
Bob, N6TV
