Can you select LINE IN rather than MIC under the Recorder / Sound Device
section of the MP3SETUP
dialog<http://docs.win-test.com/wiki/Menu:Options#MP3_Configuration> ?
 This should not affect the DVK MIC input.  If it does, two sound cards will
be required, one for audio recording and one for DVK.  USB sound cards are
probably the easiest.  If you have a microHAM MK2R+, it already provides two
sound cards, one called USB Voice Codec can be used for the Win-Test DVK,
and the second called USB Audio Codec can be used for contest recording or
RTTY.

The MP3SETUP dialog was added to Win-Test long after the internal DVK
functions; it really should have no affect on them.  One should be able to
select the DVK default recording device using the Win-Test sound card
Recording Device settings:

Windows Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Device Properties -> Audio tab ->
Sound recording -> Default device:  MIC.

Is this supposed to be the case because of limitation of the soundcard, is

Under Windows XP, using a sound card with only a single MIC input, no LINE
input, I am able to use all functions of the Connexant HD Sound Card built
into my Lenovo ThinkPad at the same time with no errors (F1, Shift-F1, and
contest recording all work simultaneously).  I even fired up the Windows
Sound Recorder and was able to use it at the same time as well.  It's
possible that sound card input sharing may not work under Windows 2000, or
with certain sound card drivers.  Be sure you are using the latest available
for your operating system.

Again, it sounds like a function of the sound card driver and/or operating
system version as to whether sound card input sharing is supported or not.
 A third party program like Virtual Audio Cable may help, but it is complex
to configure.  It's easier just to plug in a USB sound card and have two
sound cards, one for DVK, one for contest recording.

I am not sure, but I would guess that it would be saved in the Win-Test
installation directory.   Sort the directory list by last modified date and
you should find it.
