First, install the latest version of
OmniRig<http://www.dxatlas.com/OmniRig/Files/OmniRig.zip>and the
latest Rig.INI
files <http://www.dxatlas.com/OmniRig/Files/RigIni.zip>, which include the
FTDX-5000.  Extract the INI files into:

C:\Program Files\Afreet\OmniRig\Rigs

Launch OmniRig and select the FTDX-5000 and the appropriate COM port
parameters.

Then in Win-Test, set the radio type to OmniRig and deselect the check mark
next to the radio's COM port, and everything should work fine.
