There's also an option in Win-Test to check if the microHAM Router is up and
running at startup time, and if not, to start it automatically.  Type
MKSETUP [Enter] and follow the prompts.  See this

the Wiki.

But it sounds like under certain conditions, even if the Router is up and
running when Win-Test starts, Win-Test can still get out of sync.  It's good
to know that SETUP [Enter] [Enter] will get around this.
