Hi -

The 1 second delay is present when WT is not properly in sync with the 
Interface. Actually, it means that WT does not receive the PTT events 
feedbacks from the Interface. This appears if WT was running before 
router+keyer is started. If so, type SETUP in the callsign field in 
Win-Test then press ENTER. You should then see a message under the LOG 
area telling that a microHam device were detected. That is usually 
enough to get the problem fixed.
